Break the Chain

skies to fly

Our emotions are trickiest when we are doing something out of our comfort zone. It is easier for these emotions to control and make us nearsighted because we are afraid creatures. Don’t get your emotions wrong though, they just want to make sure that you are alive.

Afraid of change, afraid of certain emotions, afraid to accept, and afraid to shine.

Every day we make decisions that define who we are, and some of these decisions that we don’t stick to define even more of who we are. That is because it tells us about our fears.

We go back to our own words in two cases:

1. We have let our ego slide for a better outcome
2. We are in chains of our fear

We should do the first more often than we think we do, always.
And there is no shame in going back on your decision, even if it is caused by fear. Fear is a crucial emotion that has ensured our survival as humans but it is a tool like any other emotion.

Everything is good until you’re in chains to an emotion.

A few years ago, after a break up my ex-girlfriend told me that I won’t find anyone like her ever and since I loved her, I believed her and was chained to the fear of this idea being true. I truly believed this, which made it easier for my mind to keep me in chains and not let me see the possibilities of how reality can actually turn out.

All these chains eventually get to our imagination which, in my opinion, is the most treasured thing a human has. Imagination helps us escape the limited mindset which stops a person from living to its full potential. It creates new possibilities that can help us break the chain.

Most things in life are easier said than done, and that is why we need to get rid of these chains that are created by our emotions which are not just restricted to fear.

The second breaker of chains is “intent”, one which has been derived from your imagination. This is where you meet reality and understand how your fear and emotions were trying to be your ally all along. The reality is not pleasant sometimes and causes stress in our minds.

And this is where you take the leap with help of “imagination” and “intent”, and create a new reality for yourself. Break free from the limited mindset set up by fears and insecurities. And once you do it, you understand it needs to be done continuously until it becomes a way of life.

It is easy for us to lose faith in our abilities if we have been in a chain for too long, but we should trust ourselves and respect the fact that we are humans with unknown potential with no bar.

Whatever you believe in will become your truth, don’t limit yourself and let your imagination fly! If there is something you want to turn into reality, ask yourself — “Do I really have the Intent to do it?”

You know yourself better than you think. In fact, you know yourself the best.

Break free.
